In October, the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust will host the Professionals in Christian Philanthropy site visit. The fall site visit complements the annual conference, held in April / May each year, as a way for PCP members to engage and learn from one another. This meeting typically draws a smaller group and is more focused on the nuts and bolts of our profession. At the site visit, the host foundation essentially lifts the hood and allows the rest of us to see how their operation runs.
Details and Schedule
- We will gather for an informal dinner on Wednesday, October 16, with all those whose travel schedules permit.
- On Thursday, October 17 we’ll gather at the Murdock offices in the morning for a day of learning, discussion, and networking.
- Finally, those who are staying over on the night of the 17th will continue the conversation over another informal dinner.

- The Portland International Airport (PDX) is the nearest major airport, a 20-30-minute Uber ride from the foundation’s offices.
- There’s no fee to attend the site visit, with participants covering their own travel, lodging, and most meals.
